Kathy Wieland is a singer/songwriter from Ann Arbor, MI. She plays autoharp, guitar and banjo. No stranger to MLAG, she has attended almost all of the gatherings and was on the original Board of Directors. Prior to 2014 she played in a band called “Katseye” and they were featured performers at MLAG in 2013.

She has four CD’s. Two with Katseye – “He Thinks I’m Good Looking”, and “Making Lemonade”. The third one is “Momma Likes to Fish”, (2019) and “Skyliner” (2023) is her latest. Her songs have won awards at the Walnut Valley Festival (Winfield, KS) in 2014 and 2015 and the Riverfolk Music Fest (Manchester, MI) in 2010. She has taught autoharp and song writing workshops at festivals in Michigan, Pennsylvania, Arizona and Oregon.
