In the summer of 2006, Keith conceived and directed The First International Body Percussion Performance Project in Salzburg, Austria. His other large scale works include the Body Tjak Projects, an on-going series of multidisciplinary performances involving artists from Indonesia and the Americas, co-directed with Balinese composer/choreographer I Wayan Dibia, which began in 1980.

Keith has produced numerous CDs as well as instructional and performance videos/DVDs for Crosspulse Records and Videos. As a faculty member of UCLA's Department of World Arts and Cultures for five years Keith created courses on the relationship of music and dance; deep listening; synchronicity, time and timing; and intercultural communication in the arts.

Through the rehearsal and performance process in intercultural/interracial collaborations over more than three decades, Keith explores the use of music and dance ideas as tools for intercultural communication. His unique approach to Body Music is a jumping off point for incorporating the varied concepts of time and space embedded within culture.
