It is with great pleasure that I introduce the California Autoharp Gathering for May 18-20, 2007!

You are most welcome to join us!

The California Autoharp Gathering is an all-inclusive festival, with motel-style lodging rooms, dormitories, camping & RV space, a first class dining facility, concerts, workshops, an excellent youth activity program, swimming, hiking, clean air, and the best weather of the year!

The California Autoharp Gathering was created for several objectives:

1. To bring music, dance and arts to all participants - adults and children alike. It is important to introduce and encourage young students to participate in the world of fine arts. We bring children closer to those skills with hands-on workshops. Children will also have the opportunity to perform and showcase their own skills.
2. To promote traditional music with use of the autoharp. The autoharp is a wonderful instrument for beginning musicians; regards of age, background, or experience. All participants will be encouraged to learn and enjoy creating music.
3. To bring world-class artists to entertain participants with concerts, workshops, and friendships. Both staff members and participants work closely together with spirit and enthusiasm. Everyone has fun!
4. To enjoy the beautiful Sierra Nevada Mountains at the scenic St. Nicholas Ranch. It is a chance to recharge your energy, relax when you like, and jump in the middle when you wish!
5. To have "good times" with friends, family members, and fellow musicians.
