Thank you for your interest in the California Autoharp Gathering.
Our event is the largest autoharp-staffed
gathering and festival in world.
The California Autoharp Gathering is a multi-generational, multi-cultural,
educational event originally sponsored by the Mendota Unified
School District and presented as a gift to the community.
We have moved the event to the St. Nicholas Ranch to accommodate
on-site lodging and camping for all participants and to provide
special activities for children.
This annual event is the brain child of the Mendota School District's
Director of State & Federal Programs, Mike
Mueller. Mueller, a musician and artist in his own
rite has built a festival that brings together some of the nations
foremost autoharp masters. These great performing artists act
as your workshop instructors during this three-day weekend event.
Each artist also performs a concert
during one the various evenings.
The gathering takes place at the base of Kings Canyon National
Park (close to Sequoia and Yosemite National Parks) in a mountain
resort that is fully equipped with everything you need to have
a great weekend in a camping-like environment.
There will be music in the air!

The evening stars will illuminate the gathering while autoharp
masters fill the hills with natural acoustic music and song. The
cultural and historical value of this festival, which celebrates
our worlds rich heritage of folk music and more, is unmeasured
anywhere.
Adults and children are invited to attend. There is a very full
schedule of activities filled with tons of fun and
workshops for you to grow your autoharping skills — designed
for autoharpists of all levels of development.
The event includes a complete balanced menu for breakfast, lunch
and dinner that will excite anyone's taste buds while draped in
the surroundings of the Sierra National Forest.
Please join us. This is an experience
that will lift you and your spirit, emotionally, musically and
spiritually. Hanging out with the array of master autoharp players
for a weekend in mountains of Central California is sure a cool
place to be! Hope to see you there.

years event, which was held at our campus in Mendota California.
