Tina Louise is a virtuoso performer of the autoharp. Tina now gives a whole new definition to the autoharp by introducing clear melody and high-geared rhythm.

Tina gives solo performances and also performs with her band “Tina Louise Barr and the Bluegrass Compadres”. Recognized as a leader in her field, she gives autoharp workshops at music festivals across the country. Tina’s music features a variety of lively styles, ranging anywhere from traditional folk and bluegrass to western swing, Celtic, Latin, or rock and roll.

Tina is well-known for her remarkable clarity and versatility on the Autoharp, and her trademark "high-geared" instrumentals have won recognition in the professional recording industry. Tina was flown out to Nashville, Tennessee to record her unique styles and she was accompanied by co-producers Mark Howard and Ron Wall, as well as top session musicians Dennis Crouch, Richard Bailey, and Stuart Duncan.

Tina Louise Barr has won numerous awards for her innovative musical abilities on the Autoharp. Tina is recognized as a leader in her field, and she performs across the U.S.
She was a nominee for the 2003 Modesto Area Music Association (MAMA) awards in the “Best Americana” category and was the winner of the 2004 MAMA awards in the “Best Americana” category.

Currently, Tina is available for professional studio work. She can record lead melody or rhythm tracks for creative artists searching for a fresh sound in video or music productions. This is Tina’s third visit to the California Autoharp Gathering. Last year, the “Bluegrass Compadres” delighted us with their dynamic and fast-paced performance.
